• Guidelines for authors

  1. Contributions should be sent to The Editor, Journal of Tropical Forestry, State Forest Research Institute, Polipather, Jabalpur, Pin- 482008, M.P. India The typed manuscript should be submitted in duplicate along with its electronic copy by email (tropical_forestry@rediffmail.com).
  2. The research paper should be based on original research work which has not been previously published or sent for publication anywhere else.

  1. At least one of the authors of the paper must be a member of the Society of Tropical Forestry Scientists.
  2. The Editorial Board does not hold itself responsible for the opinions expressed by the authors.
  3. The Editorial Board reserves the right to accept or reject any contribution and to make suitable alterations and amendments without assigning any reason.
  4. No payments will be made to the authors.
  5. Non-conformance to the style of contribution may result in rejection of the article.

  Unless otherwise stated, copyright or similar rights in all materials, including graphical images, presented on the site, or published in the Journal are owned by JTF.

  JTF Portal does not automatically capture any specific personal information from you, (like name, phone number or e-mail address, credit card or debit card details and password etc.), that allows us to identify you individually.

  If the JTF Portal requests you to provide personal information, you will be informed for the particular purposes for which the information is gathered and adequate security measures will be taken to protect your personal information.

  If you choose to become a registered member of Website, you must provide your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, a unique login name, password, and password validation, and a password hint to help you remember your password. This information is collected on the registration form for several reasons.
