Bagdara wildlife sanctuary is located in Singrauli Forest Division, Madhya Pradesh. This sanctuary has rich diversity of avian fauna. The present paper is an attempt to study the current status of avian fauna of Bagdara wildlife sanctuary. The area of sanctuary was studied to observe local and migratory species of birds, their family and IUCN status. Birds were surveyed in line-transect by point count method which was carried out from January, 2024 to September, 2024. The study resulted in a total of 118 birds of both residential and migratory species, which belongs to 41 families. IUCN status of birds was analysed, which revealed that 1% species found to be vulnerable, 2% critically endangered, 3% endangered, 3% near threatened and rest 91% were found to be least concerned.
